I've been making work on and off for awhile that either means a ton of things at once, or doesn't mean anything at all. today at a gallery opening i was reminded to take anything i see in, a point nik has been at for the past two weeks. but it clicked that while even in a gallery setting i need to just look, see, be effected by everything, almost superficially, at first and then move on from there. dive deeper if i find necessary, or don't. leave it at that. i really need to get a pocket book and planner. and maybe carry around my broken iphone for its recording and photo purposes as well as the calender and note pad. problem solved.
moral of the story however is to lay my mind down and just see act and feel. go with the flow. abbie hoffman would like this.
